Umahi is concerned about the damage to Marina shorelines, which may jeopardise the Lagos Blue Rail Line. He pointed out that, while N146 billion is required for repairs, just N1 billion has been allotted in the budget.
Umahi stated that repairs to the three major Lagos bridges will be completed shortly. They also examined Carter Bridge’s underdeck, the Ijora section of Eko Bridge, the Lagos-Ibadan Motorway, and the current flyover restoration at Lotto Junction.

Umahi noted that the review allows his Finance and Economy counterpart to better comprehend the projects and their expenses. He stated that monies have been approved for work on the Third Mainland Bridge, including slab repairs and adequate maintenance.
Umahi is happy with the progress of repairs on the Third Mainland Bridge’s top deck, which is expected to reopen in April. Contractors will begin work on the underdeck and lagoon sections of the Third Mainland and Carter Bridges soon.
Bidding on facilities along the Lagos-Ibadan Motorway will begin in a week. Edu is satisfied with the projects’ designs, implementation, and costs. He promised appropriate support for infrastructure to bolster the economy, with the government aiming for a 77% rise in internally generated revenue.
They also looked at the continuing renovation of the top deck of the Third Mainland Bridge. They emphasised the government’s commitment to economic growth, infrastructure development, and closing revenue gaps created by fuel subsidies. They encouraged NNPC Ltd to capitalise on oil market chances to increase revenue.
