From May 2 to July 30, 2024, owners of completed buildings without permits can apply for planning permits, also known as Building Plan Approvals, without facing the usual penalties. To take part in this amnesty program, applicants need to submit certain documents, including their title document, survey plan, architectural drawings, and structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings (if applicable).

These documents should be submitted to the district offices of the Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority in the 57 Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas of Lagos State, or to the Electronic Planning Permit office at the LASPPPA headquarters in Ikeja, the state capital.
