The partnership also includes hosting NAR partners on a Trade Mission and organizing facility tours to showcase Nigeria’s investment potential. Tinubu mentioned a specialized training in Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation facilitated by NAR, enabling Nigerians to access international markets and assist overseas clients in real estate investments.
Moreover, the conference aims to educate Nigerian real estate brokers on industry trends and international best practices. AEAN’s objective is to enhance professionalism in estate agency, addressing concerns of infiltration by non-professionals, known as quacks, which has tarnished the sector’s image.

Tinubu stressed the importance of legislative intervention to regulate estate agency, citing issues like overpricing and substandard letting practices due to the absence of proper regulations. AEAN, a brainchild of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), seeks to combat such challenges and elevate standards within the real estate industry.
