Partnership with NAR Signals New Era for Nigerian Real Estate

The Association of Estate Agents in Nigeria (AEAN) has teamed up with American realtors from the National Association of Realtors in the United States of America (NAR) to boost real estate investment and enhance Nigeria’s global presence. Their collaboration has led to plans for a conference in Lagos from April 9 – 12, 2024.

Adeniyi Tinubu, AEAN’s National Publicity Secretary, along with Osagie Odiase, National Secretary, and Uche Jinwa, Assistant National Publicity Secretary, shared this information during a press briefing in Lagos. They emphasized the significance of the upcoming conference themed ‘Building Enduring Partnerships for a Better Future,’ highlighting the involvement of NAR in elevating the event.

The partnership also includes hosting NAR partners on a Trade Mission and organizing facility tours to showcase Nigeria’s investment potential. Tinubu mentioned a specialized training in Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation facilitated by NAR, enabling Nigerians to access international markets and assist overseas clients in real estate investments.

Moreover, the conference aims to educate Nigerian real estate brokers on industry trends and international best practices. AEAN’s objective is to enhance professionalism in estate agency, addressing concerns of infiltration by non-professionals, known as quacks, which has tarnished the sector’s image.
